I have to comment how fun my 510 is to drive. This car has minimal suspension changes and it handles like a Go-kart. I am surprised that sooo many people want to spend so much money on expensive suspension tweeks. All I have done to my car is Specialty Engineering springs and shocks, notched rear end stock front sway bar and no rear bar. And with just these changes this car stays flat through fast turns and the steering feedback is super. Just shows that you can have fun without spending a bundle.

I did not spend a whole lot of money on this car. I have spent approximately $17,000 and that includes the purchase price of $2,500. The trick to keeping it cheap is to do all the work myself. The only thing I did not do was install the exhaust, & upholster back seat and door panels. I am not a bodyman but I learned the do's and don'ts from previous restorations, reading, asking questions and by not cutting corners when things get tough or confusing. That only makes you go backwards.

look at the car man! it's brand new!
I'm likely the only person here, other than Terry, to see this car in person. This was a year and a half ago, and even then I was in awe.
Everything has been redone, replaced, repainted, etc.
When you start adding things up, it's not hard at all.
Car - $2500
Wheels - $1000.
Suspension - $1000.
Tires - $500
1/3 of the way there....
Paint - ???
Plating - ???
on and on and on....

I spent 10K on the Bronze, and I didn't even touch the interior, suspension or drivetrain - other than painting the parts. So I could easily justify 17K on Terry's car. I also did all the work on the Bronze myself, it's not hard to spend that kind of cash, it's what makes them worth the "crazy" money that they sell for these days. For those who've been there, you know about it.
Looks awesome Terry.
