As for adjusting and checking the shims from what I have found its not that bad depending on how much and how you drive. I guess if this were a daily driver the noise and maintenance would be and issue depending on your tolerance levels.
Copy that Cmac!!! I didn't know that. So this will be a 8k+rpm motor with the solid lifters? Cam train noise tolerance? once you get used to the L Series valve train noise anything else is gravy DOH!

Nissan Motorsports USA - Website is incomplete so I call the sales counter to find out the torque specks of the super copper mix pressure plate to flywheel bolts. I explain that the website is incomplete and would like to get the information. His reply was as follows - We sell to wholesale customers and or racers so there is no reason for me to know the specs and or where to find the information in our system. I asked if there was anyone in the office that may be able to answer my question. Call back in the morning someone may be able to help you.

This seems to be the standard in all industries and its getting worse as time goes on. Take responsibility for the industry that you represent if you don't know the answer find out and call the customer back.

Ill get off my soap box now thank you for listening.
Hehehe!!! Earlier this summer I stopped at a Nissan dealership on the way to racquetball. I was in the 510 and as I pulled up a few of the sales guys say hmmm! what is that? It's a Datsun, who makes it asks one of the sales guys? Ommm, Nissan sales guys says I didn't know Nissan made a Datsun car WTF!!!! I just walked to the parts dept and asked if they had any rear differential cover gaskets for a 68-73 Datsun 510? Parts guy say,, a what? I said nevermind I'll get it next door at Subaru and walked out.

Rear sump oil pan for the sr20det to fit into a Miata. Nice looking product will it work in our application ? Im sure it will not work with the factory steering set up however a front steer off the shelf rack from woodward steering is now an option for those that would like to investigate that option.

They offer two options ... street version motor mount for less vibration and a race version.

After having the mounts in for a week or two, they've broken in a considerable amount. I've fixed most of the rattles that were super loud because of these mounts and the vibration is tolerable. Only gets bad at 900-1000 rpm... anything under or over that and it's super smooth. The throttle response and "directness" (lol) I got with these mounts is totally worth the vibration.

Three Bee I am not thrilled with the idea of the valve train noise but given the alternative of tossing another rocker arm i will take it. I have been spoiled with my daily drivers the last 10 years as boring as they are it peaceful other than the other drivers on the road. I am however looking forward to this spring and going for a nice drive to find something other than the valley flat straight roads here in Sacramento.

As for the parts guys. there seem to be very few that are really car guys any more it has become a job for paper pushers.

Now if I could get something like this to mount a MR2 steering rack it would make life much easier. I don't recall the outfit that makes these but they did not respond to the question of the ID size need two at 1" 1/4 or 32mm at least for my idea.

Other option is the the s13 sending unit but I have this one and figured Id share the part numbers for those looking to do the same.
S15 Gear supplied by Brad sr20det years ago he has detailed this conversion in another thread on the realm

Who made the drive shaft? How did you obtain the R200 yoke? those are hard to find

Local shop made the drive shaft the S15 joint up front on the rear its an Nissan or infinity product that uses the cv flange joint. Now the R200 CV flange for the differential is a pain to find. There are a number of cars from Japan that came with this flange but none that I could cross-reference through Nissan that were sold in North America.
