There is a place in Salem Oregon that makes power filters.

Talk about some spendy items, but when machines need the good power its an investment well spent.

Hi Montey,

I moved this topic over to my Shed thread as it now pertains to that topic.

Nothing new on the SSE, just working on FJ and doing some machine work. I did get a new TIG welder though. Hopefully the weather will soon be getting better, I am sick of winter!

The closest ski resort to us ( 20 minute drive) has 725" of snow this season. Crazy winter (Glad I have a snow blower) !

I purchased the HTP 221 with all the goodies (Made in Italy by Stel). Has pulse, frequency, spot TIG, 64 memory pre sets. Basically a Italian Miller Dynasty 280 with some extra features. The welding school here in Reno bought 15 of them. Still learning how to use all the functions, a step up in some ways compared to my lincolon 275 TIG.

It's been over 3 years since any new posts about the SSE rear suspension. I'm sure I'm not the only one dyin' to see more. Also, I was reviewing the thread and looking over the part where you show how you made the square nuts. You're right, a non metal-head (metal-head wanna' be) like me really appreciates that stuff. Hope you post more!

Happy New Year!

I haven't lately , been super busy servicing other people's vintage Hi-Fi( my old job). I have also been doing some machining and also a little TIG welding. Got get back onto the wagon too, but I still have that FJ-40 that in my way.
