Valve Spring Shim

Post by hang_510 »

need 0.015" and 0.030" (maybe 6 of each)

where can i get some???

also can someone confirm that the inner springs also require the same washer/shim set up. (was told they do but didnt find any in the removed parts)

not a single machine shop has them...anywhere that ive called. unless i want em for a honda.
ISKY didnt have them for a datsun head.

You can't get them from a machine shop? My machine shop had them in stock when they cut the new seat heights...

why did you wait till i was already done to reply :?: :?: :?:

EVERY shop i called either laughed that i need something for a datsun or no longer dealt with it.

the machinist did end up tracking them down for me...2 weeks later
good thing as i didnt wanna end up w/90 spares

i do have 1- 0.30" and 2- 0.15" avail for the next guy.

i dont plan on assembling another head myself again...
