I think they will. They have the same bore and piston pin height. The big difference is that the L24 piston is a flat top while the stock L16 has a 7cc volume dish. Running L24 flat tops in an L16 will raise the compression to about 9.9, assuming a 38.5cc L16 head. About 9.5 with a P-nut head.
