Diff to crossmember torque specs

Did a search but didn't come up with a exact number. I found a thread that said 52lbs but not sure if thats for the Mustache bar or the 4 bolts that hold the diff in place on the rear X-member. I need both the 4 bolts and mustache bar. Thanks in advance to anyone who chimes in.

As all bolts are M12x1.25 pitch, you'd think they would be the same torque spec.- but that's not the case.

Straight out of the FSM - Pages RA-4 & RA19-20;

Rear suspension member mounting lock nuts (Outer X member) 10 kg-m - 72 ft lbs
Differential mounting member (mustache bar to body) 8.5 kg-m - 62 ft lbs
Differential to differential mounting member (diff - Mustache) 6kg-m - 43 ft lbs
Differential to suspension member (diff - X Member) 6kg-m - 43 ft lbs

And in case you wanted to check;
Suspension Arm to Suspension member lock nuts 8-10 kg-m - 58 - 72 ft lbs

FYI Installing the long diff-to-crossmember bolts from the bottom makes it possible to remove the diff from the car without having to drop the crossmember. They look to be installed from the top in your original post.

Good catch Ted, that'll cause some trouble down the road for sure...

You don't need to drop the rear crossmember. What you could do is simply remove all neccessary holdings and raise the back of the 510 up off the member, there that should do it. :?
