Re: Cuban Missle Crisis!!!
Sweet! Thanks Brandon.
I started on the final install of the heat/AC system today. It is a Hot Rod Air Elite standard SE evaporator. First removed the radiator and IC and installed the AC condensor then all of the lines up to the bulkhead fitting on the firewall. (except for the drier, will wait to install last) Reinstalled all of the rad, IC, and hoses. Then spent the rest of the day trying to figure out how to make everything work. The problem I have is how to get fresh air in the blower motor and is it needed (outside air). Remember I have dehumidified air from the AC in defrost mode. I think it will work. I'm going to block off the origional fresh air intake at the firewall (it interferes with the defrost ducts anyway) and install it and see what happens. For fresh air I still have the side vents.
When I bought the car it had some NOS parts in the trunk. I remember looking at them when I first got it but forgot what was in there until a couple days ago when digging around for some lights and found or refound a large box. I opened it up and THEN remembered what it was....a brand new grille! It got installed today as well and looks great. I also finished up all of the lights today with new side marker lights and new euro style front turn signal lights.
If anyone has any input on the heat/AC with fresh air vs cabin air let me know. Any input will be appreciated.

...I can't see the pics, floating out in the middle of the pacific somewhere, our mighty ADP department restricts the photobucket hosting sites.....so I am ass'd out....I like reading, but it's much better with pictures....hence the reason you have no comment from me!

Re: Cuban Missle Crisis!!!
While I had it on the dyno today to do the speedo calibration, we decided to do a pull and see what it would make on wastegate spring (10PSI)...... it did 244 to the wheels. Keep in mind that the engine is completely stock and that we have not yet had the time to tune it. (crappy weather) Also the odometer shows 3 miles!!!! (ye haw, thats whats on the inspection ticket!) Its not going to make much more power until I increase the injector size up to ???cc per min.... stay tuned.....

Don't worry - I've also been reading intently.
Thanks so much for keeping us updated as well. When I was doing the build on the Bronze, I would also go for many posts with no response. Trust me, people are watching. I was amazed at how many people followed my build thread - it's 45 pages or so long now!
And hey, thanks for the comments on my camber/toe brackets. I'm so happy to hear that so many people are using them and finding them to be easy to install. This was the purpose of the design from the beginning. Thanks again, and keep on keeping us posted. Great build; your going to fun with this one!
