I've read that the MAF wire is not supposed to be cleaned as it self cleaning, but I could be wrong.

I will try to get a bit more pipe as the airfilter is right before the MAF

The cylinder temp sender is good as well, I have looked at it and two others also. The fueling problem is at WOT. The car cruises well and shows not smoke or oil burning.

The engine also has a new distributor, so the crankangle sensor should be good.

I would look under the car if I had a sight glass, although I could always do the mileage check because I have now both a working speedometer and a trip meter on the original dash.
