I have a radiator and exhause that are ka swap ready. I have already upgraded the suspension and brakes to 280. The wiring is all original not hacked. I will source anything else i can knowing it will save me money. As far as budget. under $4 K only if you do it yourself. and have alot of spare time.
If another shop add more money!!! and they might NOT 100% garentee the product as its all used parts. They want new and mark the stuff up.
Looks like you got your mind made up anyway . I say stay with the L motor.
But my feeling is your car will be out of commission for a long time if either way you go.
