EFI L20

Post by 619sd510 »

There was a person selling a custom intake and fuel rail for L Series on eBay before. It was like 900 or something like that without injectors.

Anyone on here know the link or site? I haven't seen any eBay postings in awhile...

I think it was that one out of Squamish a few years back.

I don't have any pictures, but i've found this...

Spoke owner about this and he said it's not a problem, but installation and tuning would be the bulk of the work.

Here are some pics of the manifolds I made for the L-Series motors 20 years ago. I actually sold the last of the second run of these only a few years ago to a fella in Australia. I bet it's been 10 years since I cast the second run, there are about 20 of these in existence floating around, I know of only three that made it on working, driving cars - and two of those cars were mine! :D

Byron I was the third dude to get one on and working right? YEAH!!!!!

I would say you should do another run but I know how sitting on a pile of paid for parts is. They sure where nice quality. Out of all the cast aluminum I've welded it welded by far the best!

Since we are posting up EFI engine shots, here is the Bronze with my cheater Webber IR set up and the current plenum set up...both on my intake posted above.

Jeff, you are right, you are #3 to have used the manifold; there are at least 17 more out there somewhere. I’d do another run if there was interest in a few more –maybe 5 sold, and then I would do another run. There seems to have been a resurgence in L series stuff as of late, kind cool actually!

Here is pic of my EFI set up, starting to get motivated to work on it some more.

Bryon if you need some casting made, I have a foundry and could make a small run of 10pcs you want some made. My email kenalloy@aol.com
