Re: VQ35DE in my Dime..Finally!!! Wiring anyone?
It moves it 4 inches or so. Moves it right to the seat rail support.

How 'bout the radiator? What did you use/how did you size it? a smaller radiator allows me to sneak the motor further forward, but I worry about getting too small and being unable to gkeep up with cooling requirements...

I used one from summit Racing. U actually want the engine further towards the back due to engine displacement.mine is about an inch away from the firewall.hedjhawg wrote:How 'bout the radiator? U don't want the engine too far forward. Check Google for engine displacement u want to even the weight since the car is so lightokayfine wrote:Sv1dime wrote:U actually want the engine further towards the back due to engine displacement.

Sure, but what does displacement have to do with it?

Engine placement. My bad displacement is something else about the engine pistons and what not just put the engine as far back as u can without cutting firewallokayfine wrote:Sure, but what does displacement have to do with it?

How far is your rack offset to the left? I'm in san diego too and I'm doing 280zx rack in my 510 and I'm trying to move the rack mounts on my crossmember as far left as possible so i can make the steering column work with 2 ujoints. As long as the steering arm stop still hits it should be okay is what I'm thinking
