Alignment of the mounts was covered in my build thread here: http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=23691&start=60#p239454

Additional pictures are here: http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=23691&start=75#p241587

I eventually modified the passenger side mount to raise/tilt the block a bit: http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=23691&start=165#p251481

Thanks for posting those - definitely helpful. I thought about making a bracket to bolt to the x-member and then bolt the isolators too... but not ideal, I think that custom mounts will be better to many different bolts to go bad. and I only need to raise the engine about 1/4" from where it sits now to clear the pan from the steering.

Want to keep this thing as low and back as i can. Fellow datsun buddy said he can probably help me out with some custom mounts so when I back home after new years ill run up to his place with my spare mounts.
