Swirl control valve on my ka24de, do I really need it or not..? I guess there's pros & cons.. I would like to plug it off, car idles better when it's plugged off. Has anyone had first hand experience with this valve.. It's pulling vacuum from my return vacuum line.
Thanks, Greg

Most delete it (including me) using an S14 upper intake manifold with S13 lower half. If it worked that well then Nissan probably would have kept it.. haha.

You have to use the upper s14 to delete it..? I've read that it controls butterflies in their... Interesting.. I really would like to delete it without concousquences.
Thanks, Greg

Well, you don't have to...Some remove the flappers and shaft and then JB weld the holes but that's pretty hack.

Think I read something like that.. That's one of the reasons I was hesitant about that. Now that you mentioned another easier way, just locating a s14 upper will be a little task. Is there any other mods to do to the s14 top.,? Or is it a direct bolt on..
Thanks, Greg

I don't recall any other mods. IACV and AAC are all on the lower half of the harness.
