Getting Gauges Working After Engine Swap

Post by Jesse3763 »

My 2 door 510 , 1972, has an sr20 swap, I have the original cluster panel in my car, I would love to get my gauges working, mainly my speedometer. How do I go about doing this and what will I need? Thanks in advance.
I am sure someone has covered this here many times but I am having trouble figuring it out.

http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?t=27037 You can reference from here. I bought the speedo pinion gear assembly off an ebay vender as it was not in stock at my local Nissan dealer.
http://www.the510realm.com/viewtopic.php?t=12697 is another great write up on doing the swap. GO to the 510 archives to get the procedure to cut up the electronic speedo pinion to hold it into the trans.
