I found four original-style wipers, but I need a little clarification.
Of the four, three are made by IKI, the other is made by Everwing. They are very similar, with only minor differences. All three of the IKI versions, have L stamped into the front. However, under the hinged mounting bracket, they are also stamped R. The Everwing has no L or R. My guess is that these are specific for the direction of mounting, meaning that for US cars (except '68) where the wipers pivot on the left, the L will be visible for both wipers. For the RHD cars, where the wipers will pivot from the right, then these same blades will be used, but the hinged mounting bracket will be riveted in the other direction, with the R visible?
Can anyone with the original wiper blade holders confirm that both sides have the L on them?
Windshield Wiper question

More pictures.
These are all 16". Is this right for both sides?

Thanks.
Re: Windshield Wiper question
My car doesn't have the wing wipers, so no markings to match. The Parts Catalog lists only a single part number for the wiper blade (the part you show), if that helps.

Re: Windshield Wiper question
Cool, thanks, so that's another clue that there is only one, the same one for each side, both with the L stamping visible. Unless you have two of the Everwing versions, then there would be no markings. I'm going shopping for 16" inserts later today, I'm thinking that these are still commonly available.
Re: Windshield Wiper question
I found some 16" inserts and now have the correct steel wing-style wipers. I installed both L IKI's, thinking that this is correct. While doing so, I also installed a nicer rear view mirror that I found, and noticed that it also has the IKI logo on it.
Re: Windshield Wiper question
from my playing with w/em, they are for a LHD =L (riveted the other way for RHD??? have not seen one to confirm)
based on the way the 'wings' are.
the 68 wipers are also marked differenly.

Re: Windshield Wiper question
I checked mine today, and yes, they have an L showing, with an R hidden under the mechanism
