Where to find headlight mesh

Post by marx1 »

I've seen a lot of 510's with mesh in place of the high beams . I want to do the same ad I have swapped the lo/high sealed beams with projectors and have empty highs.... But I cant find them. Does anyone know where to get them?

I would so totally post a pic here [pic] but I cant seem to find them on google right now :(

Thanks,

This is what you are looking for. I would try some of the four wheel drive places, or some such.

Spin by your local home improvement store and look at their mesh/gutter guard offerings and make your own for $2. Not the same mesh style as shown in the picture above, but there are differing styles available.

Yeah get some mesh from any home improvement store as okayfine said and then just cut the mesh to size and then glue the mesh into your headlight rings that are no longer being used to hold in headlights.

Why not use stainless steel mesh rather than hardware store galvanized steel?

Pegasus Auto Racing Supply sells a 1/4" stainless steel mesh in 12" x 18" sheets for $12.99.

They also sell several items not typically found in your local auto supply store. I find their pricing to be fair, not the lowest, but their service and parts quality is above most others and they will have some stuff that you just cannot get anywhere else.
