wires to connect back stock coil and basllast

Post by Benzo » 23 Jan 2011 18:47

wanted to put it back to stock and not fully sure of where the wires go back. this is what i have

blk/white
blk/blue
blk/green
red from dist
black from dist

I am using a pertronix in my dist. nothing has been modified on the wires. still have the stock connectors. just need to know which wires go where. I am drawing a blank on wires and don't want to fry anything

thanks

Ben

[black/white stripe] is powered only when the key is in the run position

[black/blue stripe] is powered only when the key is in the start position

When the key is in the "run" position, energy is fed to the coil through the ballast resistor. When the key is in the "start" position, power is fed straight to the coil, bypassing the ballast resistor.

What distributor do you have? Pics?
