Window crank and door handle retainer "C" clips supplier

Post by zKars » 14 Nov 2013 10:24

I found a supplier for those annoying to remove "C" spring clips for the window cranks on Z's a few years ago, and I'm pretty sure they are the same on 510's. Likely fit the door handles too. I was recently cursing someone who put one on backwards while trying to remove them on my 69 recently, and made a mental note (now satisfied) to share the source of them with youz guys.

These are dead nuts perfect, not a poor fitting alternative.

There is a downside. Isn't there always.... They are kinda pricey.... $5.23 .....

for a hundred!!!!!! Gotcha! Buy a box, and put 10 in each of your friends Christmas stockings this year!

They also have every other automotive clip and fastener you might ever want.

You might also notice that these guys have Yellow zinc SEMS metric bolts...

Enter "M5 SEMS" or "M6 SENS" for a search and see what you get.

Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

From '70 on they are used in every Datsun/Nissan car, van or truck (couldn't find it on the 1200,B210/210/310) into at least the mid 2000s. There is a set on every Nissan in the junk yard. Harvest them by using a handkerchief.

They might fit the earlier Datsuns too, just different shape. Hell they look just like the ones on my '55 Chevy.
