Interior Door Panels

Post by 5spot »

Anyone have a set of interior door panels in decent condition for sale? I'm looking for an entire 2 door set, but I'll take any single panel also. Panels must be uncut (for speakers), no tears or holes or major damage. Any color is fine. Working on my '73 original restoration project.

Thanks in advance,
Armen

Not really any such thing as a "numbers matching" engine in the US market. All US 510s came with the L16 and the block ID is not matched to the chassis as it can be with old muscle cars. FWIW.

No....my car is not a numbers car by any stretch, chassis is the only thing.

The 73' had crash bars in the doors, and as I was making a competition vehicle, excess weight was an issue. We put early doors on the car. I have not run a 1600 since the 70's, when they allowed an 1800 in our Prepared class and my turbo incurred extra points, but, as I still retained a two barrel carb, I was legal. Long story there, as I was the first to show up with a turbo back then, and they did not know what to do with me...heh...heh...

I thought I remember seeing the engine serial number stamped on the firewall. I'll check that and let you know.

Should be your VIN stamped in the firewall.

Ok is correct, it is the VIN stamped on the firewall.

Oh now I remember....engine serial number and VIN are both on the ID plate mounted on the strut tower.
