68 WIPER ARM NUTS??

Postby datsun5104dr » 04 Apr 2016 10:04

I have just about everything for my 68. Motor, bracket, all linkages and arms. Missing the wiper arm nuts. I'm assuming there's another couple nuts to hold the linkage in place where they go through the cowl? Some info on this would be appreciated... Thanks in advance.

I don't have any parts for you but here is a picture to show you how the pivot comes thru the cowl. I also have a 411 and it has the same setup. A roaster might also be the same. When looking for 68 parts it's a good idea to check both cars for crossover parts.

Is that all I'm missing? Looks like I'm missing a cap as well? Thanks

Yes your missing the cap and nut. As well as the rubber gasket. Good luck with the hunt. I spent 5 years looking for an ashtray. I love the 68's but they are not easy to own.

I actually went back to my build thread to see if my car ever came with those pieces and it did. Just found them! Everything but the rubber gaskets. Thanks guys.

Rubber gaskets should be an easy make Mike. Hey did I point you in the right direction on your brakes? If not you can smack me at Summit Point 8>O
