The tint it should have would be blue throughout and not a gradaided strip across the top. Yours ^ appears tinted.

Eh Guys - for those that have purchased here from Summit - what's the packaging like?

If I have one sent up here across the line, it can't go back - not effectively anyways. And I don't want to buy something that arrives cracked.

Love to hear your experience on the packaging that these arrive in- thanks.

Major back order on the windshields. If you recall I received a cracked windshield from bad UPS freight shipping in July. Summit placed a new order which was scheduled to come in Aug. I called them in late Aug when I didn't receive a confirmation and they said it wont be coming till Nov! SO if your not in a rush then place your order but expect to wait for a long ass time!

I got one of those windshields and like Colbino said it is tinted throughout but Summit website shows a graduated tint up top and when I recieved mine I called Summit and asked about the tint and was told it should be graduated up top like the shown on the ad site,,,Go Figure~~

Byron:the glass comes in a rather larger box with inner supports for top and botton of the glass and lots of foam padding molded to support the inside of the box. Was a bitch to get the windshield out which is good.

Byron, I just opened mine. Here are a couple of shots of the packing. It's in one piece.

June I believe about 2 weeks after it was announced on the Realm that Summit was selling them.

Thanks for the reply and photos.

I’ll look into placing an order this winter when stock has returned. For me it’s just a spare anyways.

Just feeling a bit passed over as you got yours before me, although I ordered before you. I started the darn thread!
