I have a 240sx 240 SOHC engine in my '71 510 2dr. Right now I have an "L" series Pertronix distributor but would like to use a stock 240SX distributor with stand alone electronic assembly inside. I've contacted both Pertronix & Hot-Spark but neither of them makes a kit to do this. I don't use the computer and have a pair of phh44 Mikuni carbs.
Is there anyone on the forum that has swapped in the stand alone assembly inside.
My email address is gzentas510@outlook.com.

Re: Stock 240sx distributor housing
It's called a crank angle sensor (CAS) and needs the ECU and sensors to set the spark and correct advance. It might be useful if going to something like a Mega Jolt system.
