I recently accuired a set of SSS taillights for my build. The ones that are sequential example photo below. I know there's going to be some cutting into the rear taillight panel. Does anyone have a template for this install? I don't have the lights physically in my hands as they are going to be shipped out to me. Any info on this mod would be appreciated. I did a search but only came up with wiring and flasher info. Nothing on the actual install. With that said my euro spec lights will be up for sale also. 8/10 condition. supper clean lights. it was hard to get the lights installed, yours will be harder as you have nice paint. marking out the holes was easy ( just pushed the light into the paint and the studs marked were to drill). what was hard was making the cut then folding a 90 at the right spot so not to interfere with the mounting nuts but leaving room for the light buckets to slide in.
it was tempting to just cut a hole but without the flange around the light opening but the panel was very floppy and I didn't want the pot metal of the expensive coupe lights to be the structure.

i wouldnt use stock wiring myself-- easy to get a sequential flasher from a mustang/shelby taillights and convert to LEDs..

I found a thread on here where someone used them with no issue on there lights. I wasn't aware they were doing these lights in LED. Thats good to know.

Thanks RMS for the info. Yeah I have know idea of what I'm getting myself into here lol. But Ive been wanting these lights since I purchased the car over 6 years ago. Finally had the opportunity to get a set and I jumped at the first chance.

Maybe Craig Ford at Tokyo2u in Japan would trace an original opening for a template & MAIL to you? I'm not a computer guy & have read often where a .pdf template sizing prints differently per person, per computer etc, which makes me shy completely away from counting on that!

Quick update. The https://webelectricproducts.com/products.htm universal flashers does work!!! My buddy gave him a call and it was all sorted out.. The part number is STS-1 I will try and upload a video of us testing it. Dang it I can't figure out how to upload videos here.

My SSS lights didn't come with harness's. So my buddy used a spare set of stock harness I had in storage along side with the STS-1 flasher. I think they came out great. Work good too. Unfortunately I cant upload the video. Tried but does not work.
