My new 510 rear quarter panels came in today!
I couldn't afford to spend $1,200 + S/H and exchange rate for Futofabs rear panels so took a chance with this shop,

Apparently he has been doing panels for the Alfa guys for years and now has started making Datsun panels as well.
As you might guess I'm very pleased.

Oh, I forgot to mention they are only $300 a piece.

I'm waiting on the VW green metal ones to come out. They are already making other pieces much cheaper then the futofab parts, I also used them when redoing my split window bus and the parts fit great.

KF Vintage, yeah they seem to produce essentially perfect repair panels but I don't see any exterior panels for sale for the 510 or 240z.
Re: My new 510 rear quarter panels came in today!
KF Vintage DOES have more & more panels..............he simply hasn't updated his webpage. He has been advertising on the Facebook pages & Instagram. Call in or email!
FutoFab's panels are OEM style only.........the manufacturer will not make smaller patch panels. Dave is trying to keep those panels in stock, but the manufacturer is problematic.
KF Vintage will ultimately be smaller patch panels........no full OEM style panels quite yet, may come later. I sent him a 68-69 front valence to copy, hope to see those available soon!
skippyelwell I wish you all the best with those panels. They simply require much more trimming cutting & fitting then the current FutoFab panels & the soon to come KF Vintage panels.......

But the ones I have are much less expensive! Time I have lots of, money not so much. I don't do facebook so ...
Besides trimming, cutting & fitting are the fun part.

Re: My new 510 rear quarter panels came in today!
I have installed a few pairs of these quarters. The main issue that we always have with half quarters is the fact they run right through the centre of the panel which leads to more filler work later. The half quarter runs right on the lower edge of the supersonic body line which is a terrible spot. We have trimmed them down a bit shorter so as not to disturb that line. I will see if I can find a picture this weekend.

Thanks tycot1, yes I am going to do the same thing and trim the top of the panel down to avoid messing up that shadow line under the main body line.
