First post! Just got a 72 510 in a trade. Plan on a $500 budget to get it running safely on the street. Looking forward to reading all the threads and watching your builds!

Must be in good running shape. $500 won't go very far.

It came with the original motor and an L18 that the guy pulled from his running 620 along with his 5 speed. I have a lot of spare steel to fix all the rust locations. Just went through all the parts he gave and it’s almost complete. The carpet and the battery are the biggest missing pieces.

It looks fairly complete l, which is a huge deal on a 50 year old car.
If you don’t mind us asking, what does a car like this sell for in your area?

We look forward to you updates and your first drive.

Hey Speedfreak,

I am located in the Portland Area, I drive a 71' with an L16 and Im always looking for an excuse to take some corners. Let me know if you want to do a drive. It would be nice to get a few of us PNW people for a coast run or something.

Have a great day!
