Nice to see it moving forward! When you are creative with fab, it is so easy to get side tracked! Plus, having 15 attack points on the project does slow it down overall. I have a hard time focusing, always going down some side road! Nice work.

Hi Heinrich, Where in SA are you from? I also in in SA in Cape Town area. How is your build coming along?

Where are you getting your spares from? I am looking for a handbrake now. I dont think I will find one from a Datsun.
I may have to look for something else.

Stephen.

i am in gauteng, centurion.
so a bit far from you.

i have an "in dash" handbrake should you be interested.

build is coming on slowly.got a new turbo with external waste gate to fit, almost got all the bits together to make the fuel tank EFI.then new fuel line's.
then fill all the unnecessary holes in the body/engine bay.and off to paint.

hope to take a week's leave in February to work on the car.

so the week leave in February never happened.

fitted the new turbo and waste gate, will take it to work to get welded.
also used part of a Nissan pickup truck fuel tank and started the efi mod on my tank and updated the filler as well.
then the engine came out again to hopefully start fitting the shell on the rotisserie.
