Looking for a 510

Postby Itsgonscrape » 12 Jun 2015 19:31

Hey guys, my name is Jay and I am from Rochester ny. I have been in love with 510's for many years just never had the funds to scoop one up to work on. So I have joined the boards today to hopefully have some help finding one. And hopefully to start a build thread and meet some cool other owners. Thank for your time guys.

Jay

Your looking for a free 510? If your implying that you earned the funds, what's your price range? Are you looking for a project only? Are you looking for a project assuming it's going to be cheap to build?

Hey Jay, let your sites go further than the east coast, for all of the Roadsters and 240 Zs I see on Craigslist here, I have never seen a 510.
Good luck on your quest.

Hello Jay and welcome to The Realm. If you could put your location in your profile, that'll help us know where you are once you move beyond this thread. And speaking of moving beyond, post up a WTB ad in the Classified forum, you'll get lots more people looking at it there than here in Intro.

And speaking of threads, here's a 510 Buyer's Guide:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26137

The cars are essentially identical through the entire 68-73 production run, so no reason to limit yourself to 69-72.
Because when you spend a silly amount of money on a silly, trivial thing that will help you not one jot, you are demonstrating that you have a soul and a heart and that you are the sort of person who has no time for Which? magazine. – Jeremy Clarkson
