Not until you get under there to do a simple task and come out with more oil on you than a bad oil change. My 510 I've never oiled underneath and no rust but then I don't drive on sandy salty winter roads and rarely in the rain except for Summit Point 8>) It's all about modern rust proofing before paint. Oiling is old school I don't care because I don't work on my car DOH!!! 8)

First stage has begun and is about 60% done. He went over the right side of the hood with a small buffer and it's amazing!!!! He has to do a whole other polish with a finer compound and then hand wax. It feels like glass in the spots he already did.

Took some photos early morning before cars and coffee. A good friend of mine spent some time shooting the car as well. I look forward to getting his as he is a much better photographer than I am!

The only non original parts in the bay other than the battery were the upper radiator hose and clamps. Ordered NOS parts from ebay. My hood trim has a kink in it so I ordered that too.

Maybe! A close side to side comparison with Nathan Marshall's 510 would need to be performed first.

Hi there!

We have an almost identical 4-dr in this frosty green color in Redwood City, CA. If I see them again, I'll send you a picture. I'm fairly certain the old couple that drives it around are the original owners and it's their daily driver!

Which, of course, is nice to see :D

Nice find 8)
