Hello from B.C. Canada

Post by linnmath »

Hello all,

I'm fairly new to the Datsun world, I grew up spending a lot of time at Westwood race track and saying that one day I would get myself a 510. Well that day finally came and I picked up a 2 door 69 510. I have had it since November of last year and have been slowly working on it when I can as life is busy.
I am looking forward to getting more into it and going to start my motor change next month. it already has had a KA24E (D21 rear sump) in it but i am going to be changing it to a KA24DE (240sx front sump). look forward to hearing and talking to all of you as my build goes on.

Welcome to the site!

There are a bunch of us that go back to the Westwood days, I ran my 510 there many times before it closed.

There is a thread on this site with some of my old Westwood pictures.

Thanks, brings back memories. I never raced there but spent a lot of time watching my uncle and family friend race there.

Charles Coard or may have gone by the name Tink. Family friend that raced there is John Baxter.
