New to the Realm, but not new to Datsuns

Post by JohnMH » 21 Mar 2019 21:15

I have been a viewer of the Realm (and other Datsun related Forums) for many years, but do not not normally participate.
However, The 510Realm appears to me to be "Above the fray" and a generally well mannered forum with serious students of Datsuns.
That's why I've decided to throw my hand into this ring.

I have a number of different treasures, a 1972 1200 Coupe, a 1971 521 Pickup, a 1972 510 wagon, and a 1959 Datsun 210.
In my distant past I spent my life in the service and repair of automobiles and motorcycles.
At one point, I had an Automotive Garage Business that did about 60% Datsuns (This was back in the 1980's).
Now I make money doing other things and spend money on my Datsun Hobby.

My wagon is my most recent Treasure, and intend on making it it my "Route 66 Car"-Chicago to Santa Monica.
Just like many things...there's nothing that time and money can't fix.
I appreciate all your help in my learning more about my latest compulsive behavior.
Cheers,
John

John,
You sound like a good genuine addition to the Realm - approved to post away.
Of course we admittedly love photos... please host them here if you like.
And the 210 - 1200 and 521 - all very worthy--- photos.... :-)

We look forward to your input, and maybe we can assist you as well one day.

Welcome to the Realm.

Greetings John, Welcome.

I hope you are an inspiration to us all.

But, I really need a kick in the pants to get my project moving again!
