New from Vladivostok, Russia with rare Nissan model

Post by Kaitori » 09 Apr 2019 17:50

Hello to everyone.
Let me introduce myself. I am ILYA. I'm from Vladivostok city (Russia). We are living near Japan, China and North Korea.
My car is like Datsun 510 (Nissan Bluebird in Japan).

It's a Nissan Laurel KPC30.
1969-1972 year of manufacture. But coupe version from June 1970 till end of 1972.
It was 3 types of such cars
1. Standard coupe version with G18 (1800cc) one carburetor engine
2. Sport coupe version with G20 (2000cc) one carburetor engine
3. Rally coupe version 2000GX with G20 (2000cc) double carburetor engine - such as mine.

This model is the first hardtop Nissan's car.

Interesting car - looks very much like a 710 coupe which we received here, and was known in other markets at a Violet.

Welcome to the realm, we look forward to you sharing experiences from Russia.
You'd bring a very unique perspective, in addition to members from Canada, US, South Africa UK, Portugal, Indonesia and Japan.

Howdy Ilya,

Beautiful car! Looks good without all the chrome.

Show us the motor.

Did you add the red highlights on the interior trim?

Yeah. It's just a sticker. To match to body color.

710 is the next generation chassis. I know that model. The beginning of manufacture was in 1973.
Look at my tail side turns. Like US style.
