The turnout at the AGM today was pretty darn good. Big thanks to Jamie and Darcy for putting together all the food, and cooking it! John thanks for organizing the park. There were lots of old past faces who were very influential in the club over the years, we saw most of the Kohen (Gary and Carolyn) family, the Kearny (Sean and Lara) family, Dave Doan, Pat Roberts, Roy Gangdal and family, Robert Curie, who with Noel Koehn first founded the club, plus the usual current (or relatively current) and still active membership which has kept the club lively over the years.
What a great day, thanks to all you guys for putting this event on. I had a great time. And thanks to Denis and Cam for bringing out the BMX mikes - I had a blast on 'em! But I learned I'm definitely not 14 anymore! (No stitches, chins are in good shape and I didn’t break anything on the machinery that I'm aware of and I didn’t see to hurt myself
Malcolm had his latest version of his EFI system working on his car – I later took a ride in his machine and I can say it’s definitely smoother than mine at the moment – great work!
We also got to see a lot of nice 510’s that have been absent as of years late, including Malcolm, Dave and Mandeeps cars.
Here are some pics:
Hey guys, you all did a great job of lining the cars up...
