Langley Cruise-in BBQ

Post by gooned »

Open BBQ invite to the locals for this Saturday afternoon, spend the morning at the show & then drop in for some bench racing?

Hope to see a bunch of you turn up for this, supposed to be 28 so weather is perfect!

We are 5 min North of freeway in Langley on 264th, just before Pagoda Ridge Golfcourse. Ample parking and deck space, sorry the hoist is full.

 Please give me an idea if you are coming so we can organize food.

Sounds like a good plan - clearing the family schedule... heck I might even drag them along :D

It's my son's birthday and he starts soccer, so no show for me. We will be at Jason's place afterwards though - see you there.

I'm in, I have a day to relax, so wandering around a million cars sounds good to me.

So.....who's car goes on Jason's hoist first......

Project on the hoist needs some progress badly, I was aiming to day permit it this summer... running outa summer fast though!

Anybody else going to head out? Try to meet up so we do not end up scattered.

Morning Jason,

I will not be able to make barbecue, prior plans as it turns out.

Looks to be a warm day today, very still in Whiterock right now.

Looking forward to meeting up with a fellow who has a 1950 Chevrolet fast back, who I met a few years ago at the show. The Chevy he has is the same model my Gramma bought new in 1950, and that I drove from Winnipeg to Vancouver, in 1965, when we moved her out to the coast, a year before I got my licence. I took my driving test in that car in 1966. I ended up with the glove box owners manual, which I am going to pass on to this fellow.
