So back to a cruise,
we went for an off road run today, what a blast ,first we went out the bamfield road(man was that hard wash board)kinda reminded me of Lake Cowichan midnight rally many years ago,
So back into town we go,hmm not enough gravel for me, lets try to see the lookout here, okay so here we go the big a$$ f250 (long box xtra cab big block baheamoth)up a hill in low gear crawling,(good thing there is alot of clearance we needed it) wow we are at the Top,some kinda sight(Got to see the valley)
Then crawl back down
,Ok this is enough (spent the whole day off road other than transit)
No not really ,
I seemed to have the urge for gravel today,
so off we go to Great Central lake,
We did miss the turn for the falls.
got a bit lost, had some fun
did 450 k gravel today in the Ford (sorry for fowl language)
but it was a blast
Mike you must get this urge over in Cumberland to eh?
Next on the list is the run to your neck of the woods once I figure out the path,if the gate is still open

I ran it about 13 years age from port to court(enay) and it was easy to get lost because of the way the roads forked. Would be easier going the other way I think. Damn, need to get my truck on the road.

Well Mike we tried the comox main this eve, got a fair way in ,Was getting dark so headed out,
Also went to the lookout on the Bamfield road,(how much seat time can you fit into a day off)Photo at the lookout
Heard that some drilling is going to be going on in the canal
Went up to look no sight from where we were,
