Tire Pressure

Post by tycot1 »

I have Advan 032 soft tires just wondering what i should run my pressure at. 32 lbs max and they are 15,225,50, i am preparing for the Oktoberfast. Keith or Byron i know you both have the same tires, any ideas?

I have the 205/50 x 15 (7" rims) and run them at 28 PSI cold. I like a bit of "feel" in the tire, so that is what I run. I even ran my 13" 032's the same. That is with 2 degrees of negative camber, so I know my roll onto the side wall ends at the "tread" side wall interface, just perfect in my opinion, for my car. The 032's have a very stiff sidewall, so, as long as the tires is on a wide enough rim, the side wall squirm is minimal.

You should be fine with that pressure. I assume you are using a 7" rim?

I also run my tA032-R's between 28 and 30 lbs with my 215/50-13's.
I'm quite happy with the feel, and with the wear. I run -1.5 degrees camber all around.
