RPU

Post by imtb »

Building a 1929 Ford Roadster Pickup. Its really a PPU, 1929 Phaeton Cab chopped off and I am putting a pickup bed on it. Orginally I was planning on putting a Z2.4 Nissan engine in it but going old school flat 4 banger.
This is going to be a project.

My father put an I6 280ZX motor in his model A rat rod build just to be different.

I have talked him into installing a set of triple webbers on it for the ideal look and sound.

Byron,

Post up a pic of A with the inline 6. I thought the dual side drafts would look cool hanging out the side with a nice curvy header.

Still trying to figure out how to lower it. I read about reversing the leaf spring eyes, but that will only go abut 1" not worth it. Evently would like to do a dropped axle and upgrade the brakes. The rear I would like to put coil overs on it some time. I am axious to get it licensed and do more later.
