The wife was asking if I got any pictures so I could document my fun for the day. She was saying its going to be a great story to tell.

So the debate among my inner self this morning... aside from the obvious other things to do on the car. My list grows and I need to decide on the power source. Period Correct-A12 - VS - QR25 new....

What do you want from the car? That Tomei A13 looks the business. Probably cranky as hell, though.

I would mimic the Tomei A13 as best I could should I go that way. After the Tow Rig driver did the timing and points to the 1200 I was surprised how easy it moved around.

Truly what I want from the car is a Streetable race car. Good for both worlds.

I wonder if one of the BMW 1200 heads would work on the A series? Sure is neat on the english motors!

I don't know what any of that means, but "Yes Please!!"

Yea, that's it. Apparently it's not that hard to do on the English motors. Not a lot of machining do be done. I wonder if the Datsun A series has the same bore spacing as the English Motors?

That's such an odd combo that I could definitely get behind it!

Just saying there are cheaper ones out there, read up on the port-n-polish and have at it yourself. Or jig it up on the CNC and expand into the market of...K-series head conversions on A-series engines.. .

Still, the aluminum under all that grease is very well preserved. You always wanted to be an archaeologist, right?

After looking into the conversions, it might be feasible for the A12 . All the water, oil, and stud holes are plugged. New passages and stud holes are machined into the block. The only thing I can see that might be an issue would be are the British A-series and Jap A-series cylinders on the same location and separation.
