Thanks for the feedback. If you're comfortable with the restrictions you can drop by as I'm "self-isolating" daily in my garage which is helping me get stuff done. I'm trying to do some future planning regarding the engine, I have most of the key parts on hand for the Z2.4 engine rebuild but my future plan is to have about 300HP on tap.

The rockers were pretty much rotted through and I did see some re-pops listed on Ebay long ago but I didn't buy then, guess I should have. Pretty much anything mechanical is easy enough to find though. What are you planning to do with yours?
Pretty much run it as you see it!

Brought it home with a KA in the bed and it was pretty torn apart. Trying to keep it a bit on a budget... Redid all the wiring, got it running, built a dash as the stock one was totally cracked, gross and I was missing the bezel.. Plan is just to drive the hell out of it! My 510 is fun, but so much of a race car essentially now that it can be kinda boring/rough to just cruise around it... so this fills the void of a fun summer daily, errand runner, dump run truck... etc...

Got a build thread going over on Ratsun if your bored...

At this point just working on a few minor things and then Ill just take care of stuff as it comes up. Got a few hundred miles on the truck already.

Anyone have a factory wiring diagram for the 720? The Haynes manual does not show the wiring for the electric fuel pump even though it talks about it for service.

It sure if it’ll help, but I can check.

Have a look here. Maybe the 720 manual has what you need.

Thanks guys, I was able to download a factory manual for an '86 (Byron was correct on year) so I'm happy. The wiring seems to have changed frequently during the production run on this model truck, mine was equipped with SOME of the components for the factory cruise control but missing some pieces. Weird.

I know the Japanese method of building a single wiring harness was common (for example instead of making 1 harness that included AC and 1 that didn't) but actually having only some components was strange. Since my donor wasn't a running vehicle and some wiring had been butchered, I wanted to sort through and test before I transfer the harness into the build (and eliminate unnecessary circuits while I'm at it).

No photos but I've been busy with the engine rebuild - getting the block back from the machine shop today. Over the next few days I'll be doing some porting then reassembly and installation into the chassis.

Head porting completed today, the exhaust ports were amazingly undersized.

Time now to focus on the valves...

Park brake cable situation is resolved, I shortened the housing on one that was excessively long and all is good now, still need to attach the retainer at the end once I determine the final length of the cable itself.

Engine assembly is well underway, have been taking a bit of a break from spending all my free time in the garage as the back yard has been calling my name! Got the head completed today though and plan to have the engine completed by end of the coming week.

Time for an update, as I've been working steadily on the truck and have been making progress. Rolled the chassis out into the sunshine today as I needed to shuffle things in the garage as I should soon be getting the body fitted back up.

I am expecting a number of things to require modification to fit the 620 body up, such as the steering box is on the outside of the frame, possible interference where the PS lines run, and oddball stuff like the wiper motor will now mount in the engine bay instead of under the dash.
