One out of 1000

It's a datsun 1000, All the body work has been completed minus the front two quarter pannels (If you have any FS let me know). Has minty stock seats, and has the barley running stock motor and a A1800 in pieces.(pretty sure its called the A1800) but the plan is to build up the motor (once I get the name of it right) and give it about 160 hpish. I've heard STORIES of these motors producing 250 but that seems a little far stretched. I'll post pics once I get a digital camera. This project could take awhile to complete because I want a paint job in the engine bay first. and thats going to cost some cash. I'm thinking of a bright red for the exterior, and a mostly black interior.

Its that motor...can anyone PLEASE tell me the proper code for that motor, I'm just going on what I've googled, and I'm finding very little.

You have one of those?...what you posted in the link? That thing is cute. Good luck finding fenders here, however. Never seen such a beast state-side.

I have a friend here, with one of those, but, he has a Dodge Colt motor motor in it. I will see if I can find out if he knows what the original motor code was.

The Nissan Sunny produced in '66 with a 60 hp 1,000 cc A series motor. Over the years it grew in size to an A1500 rated at 80 hp.

The motor in pieces might be a roadster H20 135-150 hp depending on carbs.

its a A15. The current plan is to put in a mild cam, some 8 1/2 compression pistions, and finish the build. Pics will come once I have moved into the new place and I have time.
