my daily driver blew a head gasket today and I am in need of a head for it since the one that I have has a few stripped holes and has been shaved at least three times before, anyway I need a head for a 1979 honda accord it has an EK1 motor , if anyone in socal is going to the junk yards in the next few days can you keep an eye out for one of these cars , any help will be greatly appreciated

Toured the Sun Valley yards a few months ago and didn't see anything that old. Cash for Clunkers pushed any remaining old stuff out to the crusher. Good luck in your search.

Pick n Pull shows a 79 in the yard in Redding, CA and a '79 in Vancouver, WA.
Either is a hefty drive for you but just though I would give you an FYI if you didn't know already.
Maybe you know someone who can go check it out for you...
