I was needing a new rearend for my 240, so I posted up on 240sx.org in the WTB section that I wanted one. Dude sends me a message saying he has one, it's a LSD for $265 shipped. It's just one from a Infinity J30, nothing special. So I get on paypal and punch in $265 and hit send and then I accidentally clicked this ebay link and when it was loading the ebay link I clicked back. It took me back to the send money screen and it said Error: transaction not completed, so I clicked send again. Well, low and behold it sent the money twice. As soon as I sent the money, the status of the sent money said completed, so I couldn't cancel it. So I figure ok, the guy will send my money back, WRONG! After that I sent him a message on the forum and I was like dude, I accidentally sent the money twice, could you just send $265 back. He answered later in the day and said "dude, you sent the money twice lol?! I'll send the part out and get your money sent back when I get home." So out of all the crap I've ever bought from people on forums, this guy decides to screw me and I sent him the money twice some how. That was last Tuesday, I've sent him numerous messages and he has yet to respond to me and I know he's read them, it tells you whether they've been opened or not. I even posted on the website telling everyone about it. I even sent him a message telling him about my situation and that I have cancer and he read that one and still didn't respond, dude has to be heartless. I mean I even asked if he would just send me $265 back, still no answer. So here's my question. This guys names is Tony Berger and he lives somewhere around Grand Prairie, Texas. Can anyone on here get me his phone number? If it helps any at all, his name on that forum is s14menace and his e-mail is s15legend@aol.com.

As easy to ignore the phone as to ignore PMs/e-mails. Have you contacted Paypal? Did he even send you the diff? Is your Paypal account linked to your CC, or to a bank account? If CC, and you don't really care about your PP account, contact your CC company and have 'em do a chargeback for the over (or for all of it if dude never sent the diff). PP should be better about this stuff, but almost never is.

PayPal recovered some money for me (100) but it took about 3 months, the other guy never responded to me even 1 time.

Contact local authorities in his town.

It was through a bank account, and it was my moms I always use her's and just pay her for it because she's already got all that stuff set up. And yeah, she's already contacted paypal about it. You would think they would at least send back one of the $265's since it was an accident. The guy is just shitting people out of their money, saying he has parts that he probably doesn't even have. I looked at some of his posts and they were all in the classifieds saying "I got that part, I sent you a message."
