Not a bad call Mike 7-3 final for the Nucks...

I think SJ gave up at 5-3, though. It was pretty sad at the end. However I've seen the Nucks do the same thing when they get down. Should be an interesting next game in SJ -the first 2 minutes will set the pace for the rest of the series.

I agree, and to think it was Marleau who dropped the gloves first! I guess he was out of practice, I heard the Vancouver guys calling the game on CBC that he hadn't been involved in a fight since 2007 - he doesn't seem like a seasoned hard nutter to me. I think the night was getting to the Sharks; the funny thing was that it just got way worse after this.

As far as game goes, it really wasn't much of a game after the score hit 4-2. The Nucks were biding time a bit, and the frustration level on the SJ bench was rising. The pressure is now on. But the Nucks have seen this type of lead melt away, so they better not get cocky - on the same note, SJ could very well capitalize on this at home! It'll be interesting, and I look forward to the first few minutes of the first period in SJ.

not to sure about the first two minute theory, the games seem to change close to the half way point of the second period. we may see eger with a game suspension too, would probably do the sharks some good to get his seriously negative emotions off the ice while they re-group and and try to work their game. either way its far from over. luongo gave his token free bee goal out again, these have to stop.
