it's always been said on the Bluebirds list that they, with a lot of other old inventory, went bye-bye with the Renault merger.

I'd be shocked if they'd held on to those parts for that long. Renault came around in 1999 or so.
Nissan did dump lots of NOS parts for older cars due to Renault's takeover, but I imagine the tooling for the body was recycled a decade or two earlier.
