I was terrified. No good deed goes unpunished. I draped a gunny sack over his head and picked him up stiff armed, all the time thinking he would shake it off and peck my eyes out. Or suddenly become a ball of righteous talloned fury ripping my entrails out. Turned out he was a pussy cat. He was delivered to a local sanctuary... M.A.R.S mountain avian rescue society, local to us.

We have beavers out by my house here. Go out to the river and you can see their work LOL! They chewed down a big one last year couple houses up, dumped the tree across the power line, the ditch and the dyke all at the same time!
