Power Wagon Camping
Power Wagon Camping
Took my boys camping in the WM300 last week. Just took it apart again for final paint detail, add a 510 gas tank, wiring and re-assembly. Hope to have it all together again for Winter plowing.

Awesome. I love those old trucks.

Pow Pow Power Wagon!
Because when you spend a silly amount of money on a silly, trivial thing that will help you not one jot, you are demonstrating that you have a soul and a heart and that you are the sort of person who has no time for Which? magazine. – Jeremy Clarkson
Re: Power Wagon Camping
nice to see a ffpw in action! I too have one tucked away waiting to be restored. is she stock with a 230 @ 6.5to1 or did the 300 come with a full flow 251? what gears are you running 4.89s or 5.83s?

Re: Power Wagon Camping
It's the 251 and given how god awfully slow it is, I am assuming it's the 5.83 though I haven't counted revs.
Re: Power Wagon Camping
That's hilarious. But the cool thing about old cars is that it just really doesn't matter does it.defdes wrote: and given how god awfully slow it is...
The only difference in that given the right place, you really don’t need to slow down much for anything either
Cool trucks guys.

Yeah, it really drives home the facts stated in that Citroen 2CV video posted in the other thread. It's full sensory experience, concentration and dedicated planning driving one of these old rigs.Byron510 wrote:That's hilarious.
