I have a weber jet question
ok so here is some back ground on my engine i have a l18 bored 30 over 11-1 compression 44mm intake valves stock exhaust valves. ported intake and exhaust ports (gasket size ) 480/280 ish cam (cant quite remember the speck's but it is very close to the 480 280)
ok so here is my question i just acquired a set of weber 45's on a mikuni manifold the settings are
30mm chokes
air corrector is 155
emulsion tube
f16
main jet 135
idle jet
55
will this combo run good on my l18? If not what do you guys suggest?
this is my first set of side drafts. I usually run su's

That's a pretty small choke for a 45, but it looks like you are in the ballpark for getting it going.

Depends where you want the power, but either will be good.

We were running 36 chokes in our e-prep autocross 510 and it worked well L18, 12.5 to 1 compression 540/280 cam in a 219 head with 44mm/35mm comp valves. We are going to try 38 and hope to get a little more top end.
