Mitty 2010 Pics

Post by nullbound »

Here's some pics from today at Mitty 2010. We got to do 2 laps at Road Atlanta for the BRE parade lap session, which was pretty fun in the wagon except for a wrong turn at one point. Lots of 510's and several Z's to see. And it was awesome to talk to some fellow datsun addicts. Also got to see Pete Brock and Adam Corolla.

Jason – another black wagon…

I like the subtle flares on the yellow 2dr with the BRE Lip

James, there’s a wagon that an identical colour to your turbo car

Custom gauges in the ’69 car looks good

I also liked the tri-pod gauge lay out on the later model 70-73 510 dash

Mustang is pretty wild – not sure if I like it but lots or work and original ideas

But I do like the Celica!

Thanks for posting the link to the pics.

you mitty people all suck!   I sooo wish I coulda gone. Either no time or no money, story of my life.

Nice to see Les Cannaday there... that 44 roadster was essentially unrestored at the BRE reunion a year and a half ago... nice to see it done! the Mexican 1000 car is a factory safari rally prepped works car that BRE was given for the 69 BAJA, note the right hand drive and SSS trim. it was found in a an Arizona wrecking yard? it had been raced with a big block transplant for several years in some sort of short track racing, then left for dead somewhere.

The red 46 Z is a replica, the blue 3 Dan Parkinson Z - I don't know... I hear the original exists. the Baja Z is Carl Becks masterfully restored beast, the 85 car is "restored" much in the same way My Bad Granny is restored- lots of new metal. the 46 car is the 100 percent real deal. there is also a Yellow 27 car which I was hoping would show up, but alas is still in private hands.

My girlfriend got some pics as well. Random cars and candid shots. She's uploading them on and off.

Not my pics (still waiting to get some from my dad and bro before I put them up), but here's some BRE stuff and some racing! I'm driving the bright yellow 240Z BTW.
