page load speed

Post by 510-Trevor »

Is it just me, or does the site seem to be loading much faster than in the past.

Anybody having problems with SLOW load speed, or non at all? The last two days I have had trouble, even geeting the site to load.

Yes, the last two days it’s been slow loading and the search hardly works sometimes.
In just two days from now, tomorrow will be yesterday.

Thanks Gang,

I never know if I'm in some electronic black hole here in White Rock, I have enough UFO's and other stuff flying over these days, and as I prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse, I need to know that I can still contact my 510 buddies!

I found myself offline last night. I have been having Win XP stability issues and an old IE browser. Looks like it's time to switch over machines.

It seems to be working fine now ( 3:30 PM ),

Jason, I have Win 7 and use FireFox, so I think it was the 510 server issue.

Now, back to building tin foil hats...Alcan brand works best......

I'm going to switch to my new computer soon Keith, it's running windows 7 and I expect to try a new browser with it too. It's about time though, I'll have to transfer all of my files over, set up the programs I use and then set up my NAS too ... What a pain, I'll do it over Christmas when I have the time and patience to deal with it ... I only do this every 5 years or so when I outgrow my old box, hopefully this new setup lasts that long!

Can't I wear a steel pot instead, tinfoil is so flimsy!

I'm in the midst of wiping out the computer at work, reformatting, and re-loading EVERYTHING! It has slowed down so much with "bloatware", etc, I can't stand it any more. I spent Friday morning backing up all my files, and at 7:30 Monday morning...KAAA BLOOIE.......
