Re: Shiny New Dimes
Technically this isn't a "Shinny New Dime" as paint was completed in July of 2012 - BUT she has yet to be on the road so that MAY count as new, right?

Re: Shiny New Dimes
Looks shiny new to me.
Re: Shiny New Dimes
Before- August 2012
After- about 8 months later and a lot of money....July 2013
There are still issues outstanding with the restoration job done. I'm currently taking it up with the shop that did the work.

Re: Shiny New Dimes
Yeah, but I highly recommend NOT using them for anything Datsun related. They like their muscle cars and exotics but they treated my car like a joke. There's dirt in the new paint job, mostly on the hood and trunk. The new seals they installed were either really sloppy or just plane wrong. I could go on but you get the picture. Funny they can make a rare Bugatti out of magnesium but can't manage to fit the trunk seal on a Datsun 510. Weird!dodgydan wrote: hay its the restoration garage t.v. car.

To restore a Datsun properly, you need years... not weeks.Bradinnes wrote:Yeah, but I highly recommend NOT using them for anything Datsun related. Re: Shiny New Dimes
Making some progress on my car. This thread seems a little dormant. So I thought I would share to wake it up a bit.
