April 2013 pics: 1988 civic Lx sedan
Haven't posted here in a while.. Here's some new pics of my 88 sedan since I bought it december 2011.
Anyways, snow is gone and spring 2013 is here and it was warm enough to get some much needed new pics. Enjoy.

Goddamn that thing is friggen cherry.
Something about OEM Hondas from this era is pretty cool. I feel like they are vastly under-appreciated in their unmodified state, especially among car enthusiasts . Seems like everyone makes fun of hondas. Worn out or riced out and they are a huge turn off, but this thing is sweet.

How many toothbrushes did you wear out?!!!
Beautiful detailing job.
I had an '89 Civic (my wife's car) what a runner that was, many cross country trips.

A few updates to this car:
Replaced the main relay recently.
A new one fixed the hard start when warm issue. (Old relay can be resoldered too)
You can see the circle cracks around the solder joint.
Also Installed rear trunk liner and new weatherstrip.
1988-1989 civic sedan (all models) and 1990-1991 DX models never came with the carpet liner.
The most difficult part was lining up the holes and clips then drilling out the metal.
The plastic pieces are a bit scuffed / scratched but can be fixed.
note: The little blue dot has to line up with the trunk hatch to install properly.

When are you bringing that to JCCS?
Because when you spend a silly amount of money on a silly, trivial thing that will help you not one jot, you are demonstrating that you have a soul and a heart and that you are the sort of person who has no time for Which? magazine. – Jeremy Clarkson
